Call for Papers

The organising committee invites you to participate in the 13th Annual Symposium on Precision Agriculture in Australasia by submitting an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. The committee particularly invites abstracts relating to the identified symposium themes but will consider all abstracts submitted. Selection of oral presentations will be based on maintaining a balance of speaker topics.

Guidelines for submission of abstracts

Please submit an abstract of approximately 500 words by 1 May, 2009.

Abstracts should be emailed as a MS-word attachment to confco@une.edu.au, and must include the following:

  • Author(s) full name(s) - with the presenting author underlined;
  • Affiliation;
  • Complete mailing address with telephone, fax, and email;
  • Title of Abstract;
  • Preferred theme.
  • Authors are required to submit their abstract formatted using the symposium template

Confirmation of acceptance of the abstract will be provided by 1 June, 2009.

Review Process

The abstracts will be evaluated by the Local Organising Committee to determine their suitability for the symposium. The accepted abstracts will be published in the Symposium Program and Book of Abstracts which will be distributed to all symposium attendees and posted on symposium website. Submission of an abstract implies permission for it to be published in these publications.

If Your Abstract is Accepted

If you are chosen to present at the symposium you will also need to register to attend by 24/7/09. All expenses including symposium registration, accommodation and travel are the responsibility of the presenter.
