Travel & Accommodation Transport: Armidale is situated on the New England Tableland, 510 km north of Sydney (6hr drive), 462 km south of Brisbane (5.5hr drive) and 190 km west of Coffs Harbour (2.5hr drive). Armidale Regional Airport is approximately 8 km from the Central Business Area and provides a number of daily services to and from Sydney. All major coach lines also service the City. The State Rail Authority runs a daily Countrylink service to and from Sydney. Accommodation (on-campus): Austin College is located on the campus of the University of New England. It provides basic single study bedrooms with shared bathrooms. The tariff of $65.00 per night includes a full cooked breakfast. College bookings must be made on the Registration form. Accommodation (off-campus): Alternative motel accommodation is available in the city some 5km from the UNE campus.
