Call for Papers

Participants are invited to submit an abstract addressing one or more of the conference themes of approximately 300 words by 31 March, 2009.

The abstract should include:

  • Two learning objectives that participants can expect from the session
  • Three key words to describe the content of the abstract
  • 300 word maximum abstract
  • Please do not include your name on the abstract attachment

Abstracts must be emailed as an attachment to narrativeinquiry2009@une.edu.au

When emailing, please include the following:

  • Author(s) full name(s) - with the presenting author underlined;
  • Affiliation;
  • Complete mailing address with telephone, fax, and email;
  • Title of Abstract;
  • Preferred Sub-theme.

Confirmation of acceptance of the abstract will be provided by 30 April 2009.

Review Process

The abstracts will be peer reviewed by academics chosen by the Local Organising Committee to determine their suitability for the conference. The accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts which will be distributed to all conference attendees and posted on conference website along with the conference program. Submission of an abstract implies permission for it to be published in these publications.

If Your Abstract is Accepted

If you are chosen to present at the conference you will also need to register to attend. All expenses including conference registration, accommodation and travel are the responsibility of the presenter.

Guidelines for submission of full papers

To be submitted within one month following the conference via email to: narrativeinquiry2009@une.edu.au
