Aims & Themes This ground-breaking international conference will bring together healthcare practitioners of all persuasions and scientists to learn the recent developments in the evidence supporting the use of complementary medicine. The particular focus will be on herbal and nutritional therapies. All aspects of evidence-based practice such as quality issues, safety, controlled clinical trials and effectiveness in a hospital or clinical setting will be explored at the conference. A sub-theme will be an exploration of the relevant research methodologies and clinical context for complementary medicine. Key topics will include, but not be limited to:
