Social Functions The cost, for participants, of all social program activities is included in the Full Registration fee. Single Day Registration delegates and Accompanying persons are most welcome to attend any or all of the social program activities. Bookings must be made on the registration form. Sunday 12 July 2009, 2.00-4.00pmWine Tasting Tour - Whyworry Wines Whyworry - A story of fine wine & Superfine wool. Established just after the Second World War in the heart of the picturesque New England region, 'Whyworry' has a proud history of producing Superfine Merino wool with a solid reputation on the prestigious Italian market. Inspired by early experiments with Pinot varieties, Whyworry ventured into viticulture to harness the unique attributes of an emerging cool climate region. Visitors often drop in during a sightseeing tour of this pretty, heritage-rich area, with the cellar door and adjoining vineyards just a few kilometres from the grave of the infamous 'gentleman bushranger' Fred Ward, better known as Captain Thunderbolt. Complimentary Coach transport is provided and will depart from Duval College at 2.00pm. Bookings are essential and must be indicated on the registration form. Monday 13 July 2009Buffet Dinner - The Booloominbah Collection The timeless ambience of The Booloominbah Collection makes it an ideal dinner venue. As a setting it is unmatched with sweeping lawns, gardens and majestic trees surrounding the historic Booloominbah homestead built more than 100 years ago and still retaining its elegance, warmth and charm.
